An Awesome Gallery Showing Is On! I submitted a collection of some Gulf Coast Trawler prints and they were selected from a pool of 70 Artists to be in included in the April to June spring showing in the Haskell Art Gallery. This is a huge amount of wall space and the works will be featured with 4 other amazing local painters, millions of travelers pass by and view the works over the 3 month display. The pictures and story are definitely going to capture a larger audience over here!

Airport art programs are a source of great cultural pride displayed at major airports across the globe and introduce newcomers to the heart and soul of a community.

The Jacksonville Aviation Authority recognized this need in 1995, and the Jacksonville International Airport Arts Commission was formed. The commission is a volunteer board who oversees the Jacksonville International Airport's rotating art exhibitions, as well as the commission of large-scale, onsite, permanent, public artworks. The intention of this program is to provide a positive distraction, soothe and inspire, and educate visitors regarding the abundant artistic and cultural resources available within our service region including Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau, Putnam, and Saint Johns counties.

The Jacksonville Aviation Authority and Jacksonville International Airport Arts Commission are committed to showing the work of professional and emerging artists. Its six collective gallery spaces showcase fine art, cultural exhibitions and the history of flight in Jacksonville. All fine artworks are available for purchase, directly supporting the creatives living and working in Northeast Florida.

Through more than 20 years of arts advocacy, the Jacksonville Aviation Authority and Jacksonville International Airport Arts Commission have showcased more than 500 artists in as many shows and introduced this region's creatives to more than 110 million visitors. We will continue to share the spirit of Northeast Florida with the world for generations to come.

Thank you supporters and JIA!
