1954 Plymouth Belmont 2 Door Concept Roadster 1A

This sports concept car, designed for Chrysler, was presented at the 1954 Chicago Auto Show and the New York Autorama Show, under the direction of designer Virgil Exner, Sr.

The car was powered by a 150 horsepower, 241 cubic-inch, 3.9 liter, V8 poly #14 engine with a Hy-drive transmission, leaf springs and four wheel drum brakes, riding on a 114-inch wheelbase.

The body is reinforced fiberglass, the work of Briggs Manufacturing.
